Corporate Social Responsibility – CSR Coordinator

Reports to: CSR Manager or Head of CSR Department

Position Overview: As a part-time CSR Coordinator, you are responsible for developing, planning, and coordinating corporate social responsibility initiatives and projects. You help the company fulfill its social, environmental, and ethical commitments. Your tasks include collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and the community to implement sustainable and impactful CSR programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Development of CSR Initiatives:
    • Design and develop CSR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s core values and business model.
    • Identify areas for social responsibility that could have potential positive impacts on the community and environment.
  2. Project Coordination:
    • Plan and coordinate CSR projects from conception through to implementation.
    • Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and report timely updates to stakeholders.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with nonprofits, local communities, and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Organize meetings and events that raise awareness and engagement for CSR activities.
  4. Internal and External Communication:
    • Develop communication materials that highlight the company’s CSR efforts, including newsletters, press releases, and updates on the company website.
    • Present CSR initiatives and successes at internal meetings and external forums.
  5. Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of CSR initiatives.
    • Create regular reports on the progress and impact of CSR activities for management and other stakeholders.
  6. Compliance and Best Practices:
    • Ensure all CSR activities comply with legal regulations and industry standards.
    • Continuously educate yourself about CSR trends and best practices to ensure the company remains a leader in social responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing and implementing CSR initiatives, preferably within a corporate setting.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
