Role: Compliance Officer

Reports to: Chief Compliance Officer or Head of Legal Department

Position Summary: As a Compliance Officer, you are responsible for overseeing and ensuring the compliance of all legal regulations and data protection requirements relevant to the company. You play a crucial role in protecting the company from legal risks and maintaining its integrity and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Compliance Monitoring:
   • Continuously monitor and analyze adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies within the company.
   • Identify compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
2. Data Protection Management:
   • Ensure compliance with data protection laws such as GDPR and other national or international data protection regulations.
   • Conduct training sessions for employees on data protection practices and policies.
3. Internal Audits and Reporting:
   • Perform internal audits to review compliance standards and processes.
   • Prepare reports on compliance activities and findings for management and external regulatory bodies.
4. Development of Compliance Programs:
   • Develop, implement, and monitor effective compliance programs to ensure adherence to all relevant legal requirements.
   • Adapt compliance strategies to changing laws and market conditions.
5. Advisory and Training:
   • Advise management and employees on compliance issues and legal risks.
   • Organize and conduct training on compliance topics to create company-wide awareness of legal requirements.
6. Collaboration with Authorities:
   • Collaborate with legal and regulatory authorities during reviews, investigations, and audits.
   • Represent the company in legal matters when required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business Law, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a compliance role, preferably within the relevant industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and data protection regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate complex legal information.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
