Position Overview: As an IT Security Specialist, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced security architectures to protect critical company data and transaction systems. You will work at the intersection of complex system analytics, cyber risk management, and advanced technical security solutions. This role requires deep knowledge in various areas of IT security, including but not limited to network security, application security, endpoint protection, and encrypted data communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Security Architecture:
    • Design and implement multilayered security architectures that provide sophisticated defense against diverse attack vectors.
    • Integrate Advanced Threat Protection systems, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) management solutions.
  2. Risk Analysis and Assessment:
    • Conduct in-depth security risk analyses and assessments, including quantitative and qualitative methodologies to assess threat landscapes and attack surfaces.
    • Develop risk mitigation strategies and business impact analyses to prioritize security initiatives based on business-critical criteria.
  3. Cryptographic Security:
    • Implement encryption technologies for data at rest and in transit, including selecting and configuring Public Key Infrastructures (PKI), deploying SSL/TLS for secure endpoint communication, and managing key management processes.
  4. Compliance and Data Protection:
    • Monitor compliance with international security standards and data protection regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
    • Implement data protection and data security protocols in line with the latest regulations and best practices in IT security.
  5. Incident Response and Forensics:
    • Develop and execute incident response plans and forensic strategies for quick identification and effective response to security incidents.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for conducting investigations and restoring systems post-security incident.
  6. Security Assessments and Penetration Testing:
    • Plan and conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and potential security weaknesses.
    • Apply reverse engineering techniques and develop exploits to assess system resilience against known and emerging threats.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, or similar are highly regarded.
  • At least 5 years of specialized experience in IT security, preferably in a high-security industry.
  • Expertise in advanced security technologies and protocols, as well as in programming security automation tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve complex security problems under pressure.
