Arbitrage Ventures is seeking a dynamic M&A Investment Manager specializing in the laboratory and biotechnology sector. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Buy & Build strategy and proactively expanding our network to develop strategic acquisitions within the laboratory and biotechnology fields.
Responsibilities:
- Proactive screening and evaluation of potential acquisition targets in the laboratory and biotechnology sector.
- Managing the entire M&A process from initial screening through due diligence, contract negotiation, and subsequent integration.
- Applying the ‘scattergun approach’ to achieve maximum market penetration by proactively contacting all relevant players in the sector.
- Developing and presenting company valuations, financial models, and strategic plans to the Investment Committee.
- Coordinating post-merger integration and general project management.
Your Profile:
- Degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on Management, M&A, or Finance. Additional qualifications in biotechnology are advantageous.
- Several years of experience in M&A, preferably with knowledge in the laboratory and biotechnology sector.
- Strong analytical skills and solid expertise in corporate analysis and valuation.
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and fluent in German and English.
