Overview: As a Supply Chain Manager specializing in wearable IoMT devices, you will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products from suppliers to manufacturing and ultimately to consumers. This role requires strategic planning, supplier management, and a strong understanding of logistics in a technology-driven environment. The position is remote and part-time, accommodating global operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals and the specific needs of wearable IoMT devices.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery and quality of components and finished products.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement just-in-time inventory practices to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with product development teams to ensure supply chain capabilities are integrated into product design and launch plans.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, implement improvements, and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and environmental standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple components and complex supply chains.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software such as SAP SCM, Oracle SCM, or similar platforms.
- Experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to global supply chains, particularly in the technology and healthcare sectors.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and communicate across different time zones.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a preference for experience in the tech or medical device sectors.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or similar are highly regarded.
- Demonstrated success in managing supply chains for new product launches, ideally in the wearable technology or medical devices market.
