Field Account Manager
The Field Account Manager is responsible for all sales outcomes for medium and large clients within a defined territory and for building strong customer relationships in line with the organization’s strategy for the assigned customer base.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Promote the organization’s products and services within an assigned geographic area, product line, or major customer to achieve revenue and profit goals.
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with the company’s overall market and growth strategy.
- Actively drive newly introduced innovative products and services into the market and proactively track the successful implementation of sales activities.
- Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to customer inquiries, and propose products and services as appropriate.
- Develop and implement account plans and demand and coordinate resources according to the account plans.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to create better market perception and successful business acquisition strategies with an account.
- Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in the assigned territory.
- Regularly evaluate the potential of each customer and plan its conversion into business.
- Manage and build strong customer relationships for long-term partnership.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering.
- At least 8-10 years of field sales experience, preferably in bioprocess industry and life sciences.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic, results-oriented, ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good team player with proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
- Proficient in software tools such as Microsoft Office & SFDC.
